
I'm excited to announce that the Synology DS920+ NAS device has arrived! The package came in two separate boxes but arrived at the same time. After an inventory check, there is no damage to report. The DS920+ NAS consists of the following:
a. Power Adapter
b. Power Cord
c. RJ45 Cables (x2)
d. screws
e. Keys (x2 - locks drives in drive bays)
f. Installation guide
The DS920+ NAS includes 4-core CPU with AES NI Support, 4 drive bays, 2-1 GbE LAN ports (w/Link aggregation), 4-GB memory, 2-USB 3.0 ports, 1-eSATA port and a three-year warranty. Included in this pictures below are 3-2TB Seagate SATA drives.





The will go down in the history books as my first blog regarding the DS920+ NAS. Since this will be a series, stay tuned for more blog posts folks! I'm excited to test this NAS device which is an ideal use case for a homelab environment. I will utilize this device for many use cases so if you how any use cases in mind, please do so because I'd love the feedback!
